Yellowstone Club’s Outdoor Pursuits department is currently seeking candidates for our summer guide position for Summer 2025. Our summer employment dates are June-September.
A guide candidate should possess a deep passion for the outdoors, excellent communication skills and strong leadership abilities. Additionally, adaptability, patience, and a customer-focused mindset are key attributes for a successful guide. Our Outdoor Pursuits guide program offers a variety of amenities such as: mountain biking, hiking, high ropes adventure course, 3D archery course, rock climbing, five stand sporting clays, archery tag and UTV tours.
Interviews will be conducted later in March. We appreciated your patience as we are still in full swing of winter operations on the mountain.
Responsibilities:
- Lead members and guests in hikes, through our 3D archery course, adventure course, archery tag, UTV tours, and E-Bike tours. Five stand shooting, rock climbing and mountain bike guide opportunities based on skill level and certifications.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Club policies, procedures, and standards of service to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- Set up and take down for all activities. This includes daily maintenance, cleaning, and organizing equipment and workspace.
- Promotes and adheres to safety standards.
- Operate company vehicles when necessary, including UTVs
- Belay and operate adventure course
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a positive working environment
- Maintain a clean, neat professional appearance at all times.
- Must be able to work flexible work weekends and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
- Creditable experience in teaching and/or outdoor guiding
- Valid certification in CPR and First Aid
- Valid Driver’s License
- Driving record that meets company driving insurance requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively and individually
