What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Maintenance Worker position at Yellowstone County?
Performs set up and tear down of all equipment for events and assist in the maintenance, repair, and operating needs of the MetraPark facility including such tasks as carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical and welding; does related work as required.
- Operates and maintains heavy, medium and light equipment such as fork lifts, trucks, front-end loaders, and bucket truck;
- Assist in cleaning of entire complex inside and outside which includes buildings facilities and restrooms;
- Assist in all set-ups and tear-downs as required by events;
- Assist in cleaning and other work required in outside areas in all types of weather;
- Assist in building repair and equipment repair and related work.
- Associates Degree in Construction Technology/Carpentry; or
- Graduation from a High School or G.E.D. and
- Two (2) years' experience in construction trade work and/or building maintenance; or
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience totaling two (2) years.
- Valid driver's license issued by the State of Montana.
