Join our team as an Afternoon Kettle Helper in the Galvanizing Plant!
In this role, you’ll assist in maintaining the galvanizing kettle operations to ensure a smooth and safe production process. This hands-on position is vital to creating high-quality galvanized products while adhering to safety standards and plant protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor material levels during afternoon shifts.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of kettle equipment.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely operations and resolve issues promptly.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Support other plant tasks as needed to maintain workflow efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment (lifting, standing, bending).
- Ability to work in areas that will be a little hotter in the summer months, colder in the winter months as PPE must be worn at the kettle area at all times.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Team player with good communication skills and reliability.
Working Hours:
Afternoon shift: 3 pm to 11 pm

Job Type: Full-time
Wage: $17.50 per hour to start (plus $1 hr shift differential). Pay goes up to $19.50 at 90 days of service (plus $1 hr shift differential).
Work Location: Girard, OH 44420. Reliable transportation a must.
