What will you do?
- Supervises grocery associates; completes store/warehouse operational needs by assigning employees and following up on work results.
- Open and close retail locations as directed by management
- Trains associates and works to maintain retail standards, policies, and procedure
- Monitor store floor, assist with guest needs, and ensure integrity of physical inventory and par levels
- Assist in inventory accuracy, grocery ordering and truck deliveries
- Regularly evaluate, create, and maintain professional visual displays
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout grocery
- Assists guests and team members, escalating concerns or questions to supervisor or manager as needed
- Perform other duties assigned
More about you
- Retail inventory management and ordering experience preferred using Netsuite
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a customer service or retail environment preferred
- No college degree required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills ability to communicate with staff and prepare written reports
- Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan ahead.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Basic math skills; ability to accurately handle money and count change
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Constant standing, lifting, climbing stairs, and repetitive motions
- Bending, reaching, and climbing on ladders
- Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift
