Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation and portion control.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food industry.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary standards is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
