Position Summary
This part-time position offers an opportunity to support our clients in several key functional areas of HR. These areas include compensation, employee relations, employee engagement and communications, payroll and benefits consulting, talent acquisition, policy development and strategic organizational development, and onboarding / offboarding processes.
Our consulting work may be remote, hybrid, or on-site at client locations throughout the Traverse City area. Each day will be a little different.
This position pays between $34 - $38 per hour, depending upon qualifications. Your hours range between 20-40 hours per week and are flexible depending on your availability and the business needs. We provide an incredible amount of flexibility and work-life balance.
We are based in the SPARK East incubator in downtown Ypsilanti, MI. This hybrid position will occasionally require travel to our client's offices, which are primarily concentrated in the Traverse City area.
About You:
- Broad and deep HR experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Have experience with applicant tracking systems and HR management platforms
- Comfort in a small company environment and the cyclical nature of consulting work
- Able to occasionally be onsite with clients
- Thrives on providing world-class client service
- Able to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Team-orientated with a proven ability to work autonomously as well.
