About the Job
The Chief Operations Manager will oversee the daily operational needs of YYMBC, managing client assignments and projects while delivering high-quality service. This includes coaching and advising team members in meeting client expectations and assisting the President of Medical Billing with personnel administration tasks.
Key Objectives:
- Oversight of billing department operations including medical coding, charge entry, claims submissions, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, collections, electronic files, and reimbursement management
- Assistance in developing and implementing procedures and policies for staff workflow and personnel activities
- Organizing workflows, supervising day-to-day activities, and ensuring billing deadlines are met and payments are maximized
- Maintaining a working knowledge of insurance carriers, payers, and processes utilized within the revenue cycle
