ROLE:
The primary duty of the position requires the ability to strategize, oversee and execute paid media efforts in relation to lead generation and revenue driven campaigns, to find new avenue to expand on our lead generation channels. The ability to upkeep and provide digital performance reporting across all entities. The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the successful management of primarily Digital Marketing and Advertising program and projects from start to finish including project planning, project status reporting, scope development and timelines with business channel stakeholders, external resources, and the marketing team. This position also oversees overall digital strategy and improving overall digital touch points for our various entities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This individual can effectively combine stakeholders’ business objectives with our shared marketing capabilities to deliver relevant digital marketing recommendations and strategies, provide guidance, and coordinate with the internal marketing team and two direct reports to achieve the execution of those strategies.
This role requires strong organization in a fast-paced environment meeting deadlines yet maintaining a high level of quality.
1. Stay apprised of emerging digital trends in all relevant digital spaces such as paid media opportunities, web development, SEO, SEM, consumer digital experience/touch points, data acquisition. Suggest, design, and implement digital projects to meet target KPIs.
2. Oversee all digital efforts across all entities, including management, optimization, implementation of new strategy to support business needs.
3. Work with each brand stakeholder to develop, maintain, and execute a multi-channel digital marketing strategy/plan for each business unit as well and paid digital media plan.
4. Manage all paid media campaigns including our vacation club lead generation programs to our vacation club offers, direct bookings for our hotels, retail locations, F&B, weddings, etc.
5. The ability to provide regular reporting of digital performance, recommendation for improvements and execute on optimization. Continue to evolve on reporting method and platform.
6. Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments. Lead the execution of digital marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
7. Oversee and manage the success of digital channels: paid media, website, analytics, online tracking, lead acquisition to internal CRM integration to sales team, social media, etc.
8. Possess deep understanding of consumer segments, internal systems, consumer facing system, operations, and integration with third party platforms such as salesforce.
9. Lead Social Media strategy and collaboration of content and messaging with property teams and brand team.
10. Provide support for the Director of Marketing on tasks, projects, and larger marketing initiatives. Proactively take on new projects and explore/test new channels and initiatives to continue to grow our Marketing efforts.
11. Collaborate with a variety of cross-discipline team members to manage the delivery of interactive solutions including paid media advertisement and digital efforts, web, email, social media, mobile, and paid media campaigns and other marketing campaigns.
12. Actively research and engage in select department meetings to report progress, as well as capture, clarify and communicate on related marketing production projects.
13. Responsible for understanding companies’ goals and to provide strategic recommendations based on full funnel approach.
14. Department primary digital POC for each business channels, 3rd party vendors, agencies, etc for marketing / project management matters.
15. Support internal Marketing efforts.
REVENUE/BUDGETARY/STAFF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Responsible for paid media spend of $5 Million and optimize to reach sales and reservations goals as it pertains to our lead generation campaign, hotel reservations or other digital KPI.
- Proficient in data analysis of digital efforts and providing recommendation for improvement.
- The ability to adjust paid media efforts on seasonality and business needs.
- Directly manages 2 team members – Digital Marketing Analyst and Digital Marketing Coordinator.
- The ability to oversee, manage and train digital team.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of Digital Experience required.
- High proficiency in paid media and analytics (Paid Social, Search, SEO, Programmatic, Google Analytics, pixel tracking integration, reporting mechanisms.)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Digital Marketing or relevant field.
- Previous experience managing a team.
- Marketing/Advertising agency, hospitality or vacation club experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; verbal and written.
- Ability to manage budget, vendor PO and invoices
