ROLE :
The resolutions agent will be responsible for the complete account management of consumer account loan portfolio 60 to 120 day delinquencies. Experienced first party account manager needed for fast-paced Timeshare Mortgage collections department. Responsibilities include customer service, collections, skip tracing, and recovery.
SUMMARY :
A resolutions agent’s primary duty is communicating with customers, via phone, to resolve delinquent accounts and collect payments on debts. This requires patience and diligence as resolution agents frequently deal with debtors avoiding their phone calls or quickly hanging up once they realize the call is an attempt to collect a debt. Additionally, some customers can be hostile or rude.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Meet weekly and monthly delinquency and charge-off goals
- Ability to review accounts for escalation or “Problem Accounts.”
- Document customer conversations and payment arrangements
- Perform detailed skip tracing activity to locate delinquent customers
- Negotiate payment terms via telephone, email, and letter form
- Excellent computer skills and phone etiquette
- Pass background check and drug screen
- Reduce the number of accounts being sent to third party collections
- Work evenings and weekends as needed
- Be a competitive and self-motivated team player
