ROLE
As an activity coordinator, you'll be the heart and soul of our hospitality team, ensuring every guest experiences the warmth of our island culture, and beauty of our island Maui. You'll coordinate activities that showcase our properties amenities, share fascinating stories of our history and island knowledge making each visit unforgettable. Your role will involve creating personalized itineraries and fostering a welcoming atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home in our little piece of paradise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead / direct owner activities and functions.
- Provide support and assistance for the owner during their stay.
- Ensure timely and accurate owner communications
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Maintain a flexible schedule.
- Perform all other job requests as assigned by management.
- Must be able to maintain mobility.
- Develop Programming :
- Activity Coordinators spend the majority of their time working on programming activities, events and outings. Activity Coordinators will work with the Owner Services Manager to ensure all the required staff and materials are available for all activities, a room or space is reserved for the event and any promotional materials are developed and distributed in advance of the programs.
- Oversee Support Staff :
- Activity Coordinators often assist with overseeing the support staff and volunteers working activities and events. You may help train the staff, create teams or groups to work certain events or programs to ensure all directions and protocols are followed.
