Job Description
As a Line Cook, your execution of our delicious recipes will contribute to the extraordinary dining experience that keeps our guests coming back for more. You will be responsible for creating and preparing food items and providing them in a timely manner in accordance with established standards.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare food items and provide them in a timely manner in accordance with established standards.
- Able to demonstrate above average knife skills.
- Perform necessary tasks to prepare food orders and assist in maintaining the kitchen in a clean and neat manner.
- Enjoys creating a culinary adventure for our guests.
- Follows sanitation standards for exceptional guest service.
- Participates as an employee in producing a smoothly and efficiently run dining experience.
- Assists other employees with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary.
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 1 year of experience in commercial kitchen cooking on cold or hot line.
- Great organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
- Multi-tasking skills.
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform basic and intermediate math.
- Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well-groomed manner.
- Ability to work effectively with other department employees and guests.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Able to read, write and communicate verbally in Spanish.
