As an ABM Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing creative account-based marketing strategies in lockstep with the sales team under guidance from marketing leadership. You will help grow Yes Energy’s existing book of business and help drive new logo opportunities for the sales team via impactful campaigns. This role is part of a larger marketing team that helps grow and nurture MQLs, thoughtfully engages with existing customers to grow their adoption of Yes Energy products, and helps shorten sales cycles.

Reporting to: Marketing Manager
- ABM Program Management & Strategy: Work closely with the Marketing Manager to plan and implement highly personalized ABM campaigns based on customer segments. Craft and implement targeted ABM strategies to engage and convert high-value accounts, aligning closely with sales objectives.
- Partner with Sales: Foster a collaborative relationship with Sales teams, including account managers and account executives; train sales and relevant team members on new ABM strategies. Leverage campaign insights and engagement metrics (i.e., email opens, downloads, etc.) to help Sales prioritize outreach.
- Campaign Ownership: Implement targeted ABM campaigns, primarily leveraging tools like Salesloft, Paperflite, and HubSpot. Leverage intent data from platforms like 6sense and Salesforce to refine segmentation
- Content Development: Collaborate with content creators to produce assets that address target accounts' specific needs and pain points.
- Partner with Demand Gen: Identify paid media opportunities to help reach ABM goals (primarily across LinkedIn, display, and paid search). Help monitor budget and spending related to paid components of ABM campaigns
- Customer Research: Dig into the target account’s business needs, challenges, and decision-making process, informing customized marketing initiatives
- Report and Optimize: Spearhead weekly reporting of ABM campaign activity against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and track ROI; use findings to improve adoption of tactics by internal team members and finetune outreach or content strategies
- Minimum of 3 years B2B tech marketing experience; bonus for working across multiple product lines
Minimum of 2 years ABM experience working across marketing and sales departments to implement strategies
- Experience or passion for power markets and the energy industry is a plus
- You’ve built and run ABM campaigns before and have experience supporting campaigns that help Sales close $100k-$200k deals and targeting the complex buying committees that shape and influence deal decisions
- Strong understanding of how sales works, how to support complex deals, and how to get buy-in from sales team members on new strategies
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams; effective strategy and ABM campaigns require collaboration across Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, and more
- You're comfortable with a diverse tech stack and/or willing to learn new technologies. Primary platforms we use at Yes Energy for marketing & ABM: Salesforce, 6sense, Salesloft, HubSpot, Paperflite, Google Analytics, Linkedin Advertising
- Bonus: Familiarity with ABM tools like 6sense or Demandbase; you’ve used these tools to help create campaigns
- Excellent project management skills; you love keeping the ship on course
