Position Summary
As the Business Development Representative Manager, you will lead, mentor, and engage directly in outbound lead-generation activities. Leveraging your proficiency in outbound sales and pipeline building for SaaS technologies while becoming an expert in the power markets, you'll foster an environment that drives teamwork and outbound growth and promotes continuous learning. You will be instrumental in developing and refining our outbound new sales strategies and optimizing resources to meet and exceed sales targets.

Reporting to : Vice President, Sales
Primary Responsibilities
Managed a team of business development representatives while participating in lead generation activities and orchestrating strategic outreach to our ideal customer profile (ICP) and targeted persona.
Partner with the Vice President of Sales and Account Executives to assess existing strategies and identify and implement new strategies to inform our sales process and generate high-quality leads.
Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to align on strategic goals, drive lead generation campaigns, and ensure seamless transition of qualified MQLs / SQL to discovery calls and demos.
Introduce scalable processes with our teach stack to enhance team efficiency, transforming how we develop and qualify leads, engage in meaningful prospecting activities, and nurture opportunities through the sales cycle until close / won.
Champion a culture of continuous learning, promoting best practices, in-depth product knowledge, and expertise of power market participants and how we support their daily activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of three years of customer-facing experience in a B2B SaaS environment
Minimum of one year experience working in a BDR Manager role in SaaS with a successful history of over-quota sales achievements
Two years in a BDR role in SaaS with a successful history of over-quota sales achievements
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated track record as a high-performing BD Manager and BD Representative in the SaaS industry, with a legacy of lead generation and pipeline growth.
Demonstrate a desire to develop and grow leadership experience focusing on performance management and professional development.
Previous experience in the power markets or a strong passion for the industry, the ability to quickly comprehend and apply complex data sets in a sales context, and the capacity to use this knowledge to devise creative and effective strategies are critical.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering meaningful connections at all organizational levels, both internal and external.
Demonstrate a desire to develop and grow leadership experience focusing on performance management and professional development.
Proficiency in various technologies, including CRM systems, lead generation tools, and data analytics platforms. Salesforce experience preferred.
