Position Summary
As the Director of Professional Services, you will be responsible for the teams that onboard customers and provide ongoing professional services to them. This role will support Yes Energy’s Bid-to-Bill and Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM) solutions. Your main objective will be to guide our customers through seamless transitions and empower them to unlock the full potential of our solutions—and to do this profitably.

Position Details
Salary range : $140,000 - $165,000 plus bonus

Travel requirements : 35-50% travel
Primary Responsibilities
Services Delivery : Lead the Services team with rigorous discipline and measurement to achieve successful service engagements with high customer satisfaction
Program Management : Oversee multiple projects concurrently
Manage issue escalation and resource dependencies
Achieve successful on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery of customer commitments
Financial Management : Manage the financial aspects of the professional services team, including budgeting, services revenue targets, margin goals (driven by billable vs non-billable utilization), etc.
Metrics : Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the professional services organization. Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Professional Services Leadership : Recruit, develop, and lead a world-class professional services team that delivers successful customer outcomes :
Customer-Facing Interaction : Drive senior-level customer or partner interactions to discuss services strategy and collaborate on potential delivery or integration initiatives :
Services Sales : Partner closely with the Sales organization to drive Services Sales bookings :
Engage with the Yes Energy Sales organization to drive customer engagement during the sales cycle
Work very closely with the Sales organization as a partner to help promote Yes Energy’s extensive portfolio of solutions
Develop a strategy for leveraging 3rd party contractors and / or consulting firms to maximize customer value, if and when applicable
Drive overall Yes Energy customer value, growing subscription recurring revenue
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Forge strong partnerships across the Yes Energy organization, as cross-team collaboration is at the core of our customers' success. Partner closely with pre-sales, Sales, Customer Success, Customer Support, Product, and others to drive customers forward in their customer journey.
Processes & Frameworks : Create the tools and framework to ensure scalable onboarding and continued professional service delivery is achievable and continuously being improved upon.
Data-Driven Decision Making : Use data to drive strategies and tactics that help customers achieve their desired outcomes and renew and expand their subscriptions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
5 years of experience with client-facing project management and system implementations with clients in energy and / or commodities markets.
Previous leadership experience in developing and leading a professional services function with a Cloud / SaaS vendor
Demonstrated track record delivering on services booking and margin targets
Extensive experience with complex solution sales and delivery
Strong Technical product knowledge and how to best use and deploy SaaS Solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience using Microsoft Project or equivalent solutions
Requires 35-50% travel
