Position Summary
The Senior Financial Planning Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis needed to guide the company s growth. Reporting to the Director, FP&A, this individual will provide insightful analysis to aid decision-making, support acquisition integration, and help establish robust financial processes.

Salary range: $90 - $110K
Primary Responsibilities:
Work within our reporting systems to improve underlying data and processes to increase speed and accuracy of reporting systems and reports.
Build datasets to enhance reporting quality and insightfulness possibilities across the reporting suite.
Assist in the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning efforts across departments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Develop and refine financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, cash flow and other key metrics to support growth and acquisition strategies.
Analyze and report on key variances to forecasts and budgets, identifying actionable insights and opportunities for optimization.
Assist with post-acquisition financial integration, including assessing financial impacts, monitoring synergies, and setting up reporting frameworks.
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends, analyzing causes of unexpected variances, and providing comprehensive variance analysis.
Work cross-functionally with accounting, operations, and product to streamline and unify financial processes for acquired entities.
Collaborate closely with functional leaders to understand key drivers of the business, support their budgeting needs, and offer insights for decision making.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modeling, and recommendations to support strategic initiatives, new product launches, and pricing strategies.
Develop and maintain key financial and operational dashboards for regular reporting.
Enhance reporting tools and processes to support data accuracy and scalability, working with business intelligence to ensure access to critical data.
Continuously improve and streamline financial reporting systems, enabling quick response to evolving business needs.
Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape to inform strategic planning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of five (5) years FP&A experience with 3 years in a SaaS or technology and high-growth environment.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements and SaaS metrics.
Proficiency with NetSuite, Maxio, SQL, Excel, G-Sheets, and Adaptive Insights is preferred.
Experience in post-acquisition integration.
Knowledge of subscription metrics (ARR, MRR, GRR, NRR) and SaaS financial modeling is preferred.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strategic mindset, with the ability to think analytically, anticipate future trends, and develop innovative solutions to complex financial challenges.

In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Yes Energy s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
