START DATE: June 6 – June 24; Includes onboarding, training, and Accelerated Learning Tutoring Program
COMPENSATION: $15/hr.

THE ROLE
When you join the YES Prep Team in the role of YES Corps Tutor, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include:
Tutoring 10-15 middle school or high school students who show significant gaps or who are most at risk to fail the STAAR or STAAR End-of-Course assessment by providing the additional high-impact instructional minutes they need to master grade level and course skills.
- Attend all required onboarding and training to ensure fidelity to programs
- Use provided materials to plan tutorials for a specific grade-level of students with the support of the Manager of Tutorial Programming
- Attend 4 hour training week of June 6 - 10
- Lead tutorials on assigned campus from 8:15am – 3:45pm from June 13 – June 24, 2022 (9 days; June 20 is a holiday);
- Grade student outputs and share data with Campus Instructional Leadership;
Additional duties as assigned in relation to tutorial programming the YES Corps. We encourage you to be flexible and responsive to meet organizational needs.

- High School Diploma
- Punctual and able to commit to the summer Accelerated Learning schedule throughout the course of the program
- Strong recommendation letter from YES Prep staff, current college instructor, mentor, or work supervisor
