My client is the industry leader in the fragrance industry formed by bringing together unique companies with decades of experience. We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) (Inside Sales Rep) who will work with our sales and marketing team in Hackensack, NJ.
This is a Hybrid Role where it will require 2-3 days a week in the office and the other days you are able to work remotely.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 1-5 years of Inside Sales Experience making outbound calls and doing new buisness development.
Must have working knowledge of Salesforce and HubSpot.
You will focus on outbound sales strategy by contributing to the generation of new sales. You will be responsible for moving sales leads through a sales pipeline by contacting, qualifying and scheduling sales appointments for qualified prospects. The BDR must be a driven individual with a desire to succeed through excellent communications, superior people skills and a strong work ethic. Must also be comfortable handling rejections and moving on to the next opportunity. The goal of the BDR is to schedule high-quality sales appointments for the sales team to assist them in winning new business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Proactively engage in cold calling activities to generate new sales opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Promptly respond to generated leads in a timely manner using provided conversation guidelines and qualifying questions.
- Prospect new business opportunities by using provided lists and contact information.
Conduct desk research on prospective leads.

Salary and Benefits :
65,000 base salary with OTE of $85,000 first year
