Job Description

This Medical Director role at Coxsackie Correctional Facility requires a skilled physician with experience in corrections and managed healthcare delivery. Key Responsibilities:

  • OPERATION OF A 60-BED SKILLED NURSING SERVICES PROGRAM WITHIN THE COXSACKIE REGIONAL MEDICAL UNIT
  • Daily rounds on patients and conducting comprehensive physical examinations
  • Establishing diagnoses and appropriate treatment plans
  • Initiating emergency care procedures
  • Following a patient's course and discharging from the infirmary when appropriate
