Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated second grade teacher to join our educational team as a maternity leave sub. This role entails teaching literacy and math - we will provide curriculum and resources to allow for a seamless transition to the maternity leave teacher.
Responsibilities
- Implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Mentor and guide students in literacy education, ensuring foundational skills are developed effectively.
Experience
- A bachelor's degree is required; masters degree is preferred.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
