Casual Staff - Counselor

Position Summary:

The staff psychologist will provide weekly individual therapy to students at YU undergrad or graduate level. They will bring specific expertise that is needed and will have experience working with college student mental health and proven success with YU students specifically if possible.

Position Responsibilities:

• Individual therapy
• Outreach to students and to staff
• Provide consultation to other counselors and to staff

Experience & Educational Background:

• Licensed psychologist preferable
• Licensed social worker with several years of experience

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficient in evidence based therapy modalities
• Experience with college student mental health
• Excellent writing skills
• Interest in speaking and educating student and faculty on areas such as mental well-being, drugs and alcohol, suicide prevention

Application Instructions:

$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
