Position Summary: |
The Department of Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) at Yeshiva University's Katz School of Science and Health welcomes applications for a full-time Clinical Associate Professor. This is a hybrid position. The program takes a multidisciplinary, medical approach to diagnosing and treating speech, language, and communication cases. Through our comprehensive medically focused curriculum, students blend theory into clinical practice under the guidance of faculty, supervisors, and mentors. The Clinical Associate Professor will serve as the Curriculum Coordinator and teach academic and clinical coursework as part of the graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology. Responsibilities include the following: developing course syllabi; organizing and reviewing course syllabi across the department, reviewing syllabi for accreditation standards; teaching graduate course work; participating in advisement; providing supervision of graduate clinicians; serving as a connection between academic coursework and clinical education; participating in student retention and recruitment events as well as providing university, school, and departmental committee service. |
