Position Responsibilities:
- Collect, review, and analyze data from various financial reporting systems and video surveillance to conduct confidential internal investigations.
- Prepare cases for submission to law enforcement, which includes reviewing and compiling CCTV evidence, writing narratives, analyzing financial statements and other relevant evidence.
- Respond to and resolve inquiries received by operations or HR regarding potential theft, loss of company merchandise, or other assets within a multi-unit portfolio, ensuring prompt and accurate reporting of findings in support of our “store first” culture.
- Assist in the collection, review, and analysis of video and financial reporting for confidential external and internal incidents related to Asset Protection investigations.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities and initiatives that result in continuous improvement of processes and outcomes of the risk management and asset protection team.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Prior Asset Protection experience required.
- Prior experience with video management software(s) required.
- Experience with narrative and report writing.
- Experience in gas station and convenience store industry preferred, but retail experience required.
- Experience with exception-based reporting preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in overall scope of work.
- Ability to work within a diverse team environment.
