Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development and execution of design projects, contributing to product development and system design. This position requires a strong foundation in various design software and methodologies, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop design concepts that meet client specifications and project requirements.
- Utilize software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and CAD for creating detailed design drawings and models.
- Conduct product development processes, including research, prototyping, and testing to ensure designs are functional and feasible.
- Implement GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles in designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Develop system designs that integrate logic controllers and other components for efficient operation.
- Write scripts or programs using Python or C to automate design processes or enhance functionality.
- Participate in design reviews, providing feedback and suggestions for improvements based on technical knowledge and industry trends.
Experience
- Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, CAD, and familiarity with logic controllers is essential.
- Experience in product development and system design is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot design issues effectively.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or C is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively.
