The Sr. Facilities Specialist role is based in Bozeman, Montana, and reports administratively to the Director of Operations. This role is responsible for the operation of the Bozeman facility.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Facilities Manager to provide on-site management of facility-related projects and equipment maintenance.
- Identify and support contracted facility services.
- Coordinate with appropriate licensed trades to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant execution.
- Apply effective and efficient space planning practices and event facilitation.
- Facilitate preventive maintenance and routine inspection of building, systems, and furnishings.
- Conduct routine inspection, maintenance, and repairs of machinery.
- Ensure optimal performance and limited disruption in production.
- Maintain equipment logs, warranties, and maintenance agreements.
- Maintain and update construction documents.
- Maintain exterior walkways; keep walkways clean and clear of ice, snow, and other obstacles.
- Respond to alarms.
- Manage inventory and purchase all spare and replacement machine parts.
- Assist EH&S Manager with compliance and regulation for OSHA, EPA, ADA, etc.
- Maintain transportation log and maintenance on company vehicle.
- Coordinate waste streams for recycling, disposal, and destruction.
- Effective and timely work order management.
- 5 years of related experience or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Proficient in a range of information technology tools and platforms.
- Familiar with regulatory and code requirements including NEC, NFPA, IBC, etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Qualified to safely operate a scissor lift and forklift.
- Customer service attitude with the ability to interact in a professional manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing activities in a fast-paced operational environment.
