Talent Operations Specialist – HR, Workday & Compliance Support

YETI’s Talent Operations (HR Operations) team is responsible for providing expertise & support to the greater Talent (Human Resources) Team and business across an array of focus areas. The Talent Operations Specialist – Workday & Compliance Support will provide world class HRIS system (Workday) service to YETI employees and support Talent team projects & initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee-facing Talent email inbox: use speed, discretion, empathy, and operational excellence to address Tier 1 employee and people questions.
- Provide Tier 1 HRIS (Workday) System support with guidance from YETI’s Workday team
- Triage and respond to employee and people manager inquiries: Workday system functionality, learning & development (L&D), benefits, payroll, time & absence, policies and procedures, etc.
- Execute Tier 1 Workday requests (E.G., password resets, pulling worker documents & reports, instructing employees on Workday capabilities).
- Use policy and process documents to provide accurate and timely response and resolution to questions. Escalate to Tier 2 support, as required.
- Manage, process, and support HR lifecycle transactions in Workday such as: pre-boarding, onboarding (including I-9 verification), transfers, termination, offboarding, job, and personal data changes, etc.
- Attend New Hire Onboarding to collect required employment documents, process form I-9, submit E-Verify, and provide remote I-9 instruction and demonstrate general Workday functionality for new hires.
- Pull delivered and custom reports for customers throughout the business.
- Conduct audits to support data accuracy for payroll processing and system data integrity.
- Respond to, and manage US unemployment claims.
- Assist New Hires in the completion of I-9 document and submittal via E-Verify.
- Support store leadership with store employee I-9 document completion.
- Manage Store Labor Law Poster program for US fleet of stores.
- Develop and maintain annual US & International compliance calendars.
- Conduct ad hoc audits and reports supporting HR compliance.
- Support Compliance Lead with annual regulatory reporting requirements, conducting new state compliance reviews.
- Manage new vendor contract review process for Talent.
- Train as back-up for International Employment Agreement drafting.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- At least 0-2 years of relevant experience (internship experience included)
- General systems-savviness, with the ability to quickly learn system processes & functionality. Shared services support model, inbox or ticketing system, “helpdesk” experience a plus
- Strong computer skills required, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Trustworthy, with a history of handling confidential and/or sensitive information preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to balance detail & accuracy, with speed & prioritization: history of delivering quality work
- Demonstrates sound judgment by utilizing available resources (I.E. policy, process and relevant employment law)
- Onsite: Role requires you to be onsite Monday – Thursday, remote work on Fridays
