Introduction:
We are seeking a talented, analytical and highly motivated Director of Capital Markets, who is excited to be a crucial part of the finance team. This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This is a high-powered team with diverse perspectives composed of ex-IB & ex-PE individuals. The role requires a strong understanding of core corporate finance, capital markets and corporate strategy.
You will assist with all aspects of capital markets, including sourcing, closing and managing all of our financing relationships, including corporate and operating warehouse facilities. Additionally, this person will play a key role in defining and executing Yieldstreet’s long term capital strategy, while managing key relationships externally.
You’ll also have the opportunity to work cross-functionally and in close collaboration with company executive leadership, seasoned investment professionals and the legal team.

Responsibilities:
- Articulate YieldStreet’s capital markets strategy to internal stakeholders to align with the company’s objectives
- Manage existing corporate & operating warehouse facilities and lending relationships
- Assess the capital markets landscape to make strategic decisions setting the motion for model and roadmap decisions
- Act as the main point of contact for due diligence reviews requested by investors and other counter-parties
- Liaise with our General Counsel and legal team on the negotiation/documentation in regards to funding opportunities
- Gain a deep understanding of business drivers and fundamentals to help solve complex business problems throughout the company
- Support the Executive Team and broader finance organization on corporate initiatives as needed, including potential future capital fundraising and/or M&A
- Draft presentations for the Executive Team and Board, including on strategic initiatives and ad hoc analyses
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics from a top tier institution, MBA preferred
- 8 years of experience in investment banking, debt markets or related analytical finance roles
- Demonstrated proficiency in complex financial analysis
- Ability to glean insights from data and make strategic recommendations
- Entrepreneurial, persistent, with the desire to go deep into details
- Relentlessly resourceful and able to drive projects autonomously from planning to implementation, with limited oversight
- Team player with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of intellectual curiosity with exceptional work ethic, and a can do/will do attitude

Compensation:
- HIRING SALARY RANGE: $175,000 (Actual salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Compensation package also includes generous, bonus, benefits and equity.
