Job Summary:

The Transloading Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse transloading operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with safety regulations. This role involves managing teams, coordinating shipments, and optimizing processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervision & Operations:

• Oversee daily transloading activities, including unloading, sorting, and reloading shipments.
• Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of inbound and outbound goods.
• Coordinate with logistics teams, drivers, and warehouse staff to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Monitor inventory and resolve discrepancies in shipments.

2. Team Leadership:

• Supervise, train, and guide warehouse personnel, including forklift operators and laborers.
• Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
• Address performance issues and implement solutions for continuous improvement.

3. Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure all warehouse operations comply with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and enforce proper use of PPE and equipment.
• Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and operational issues.

4. Process Improvement & Reporting:

• Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to optimize transloading operations.
• Maintain records of shipments, inventory, and operational performance metrics.
• Communicate regularly with management to provide updates on warehouse activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
