Role Description :
We are looking for a Graphic Artist - Cut & Sew Knit Designer for a full-time, on-site position at YJM Apparel Group in Manhattan, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating graphics for cut & sew garments and will manage the design process from concept to completion without supervision.
Responsibilities :
- Create bold, playful graphics with quirky slogans and vintage prints.
- Design relaxed cut & sew pieces, including oversized tees, sweaters, and loungewear.
- Stay on top of trends to ensure designs stay fresh, bohemian-inspired, and on-brand.
- BA degree in GRAPHIC DESIGN
- 5 years of experience in graphic apparel design.
- Proficient in sketching with Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Ability to create initial specs.
- Strong understanding of key fashion trends and how they relate to the brand and consumer.
- Passion for creating fun, wearable designs.
