Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to stage, label, and load windows onto trailers. This is done by hand.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities
- Stage and label windows for next days load-out schedule.
- Use the daily shipping packing list to locate products and load onto trailers.
- Keep work area neat and clean.
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed for business purposes.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Experience in warehousing or shipping environment preferred
- Use of hand held scanner a plus
- Experience using computers.
- Be vigilant about safety
- Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
Physical Demands
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- Must be able to lift 100 objects per shift, between 65 to 120 pounds and be able to push objects up to 250 pounds with 2nd person.
- Proper lifting and pushing techniques are required.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to distinguish between colors.
- While performing the duties of this job, an individual is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel and must be able to hear and talk.
- Must be able to stoop / bend 30 times per shift and reach / stretch 40 times per shift.
- Endure continuous standing.
- Must be able to utilize safety knife and hammer.
