Electronics Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly talented and motivated Associate Electronics Engineer to join our Engineering team. As an Associate Electronics Engineer you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge technology for industrial manufacturing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

• Design, build, and program Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) sensors and devices as part of research for smart manufacturing and digital twin.
• Collaborate with the robotics engineering team to develop IIoT packages for autonomous robotics.
• Collaborate with the software development team to integrate IIoT data with digital twin platforms.
• Aid all teams in developing motor controls, sensors, and mechatronics for robotics and smart factory research.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for hardware and software systems. 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry technologies and trends in software engineering. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Education/Experiences 

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering
• At least 1 year of experience in developing microcontroller based IoT devices
• Experience with Windows, iOS, and Linux operating systems
• Working knowledge of electrical, electronics, and mechanical engineering
• Proficiency C and Python (micropython, circuitpython) for microcontrollers and embedded devices
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
