Job Summary: This full-time position is responsible for helping lead youth into a relationship with Jesus, connect them with the church community, and equip them to serve. This position will include helping carry out the vision of the Youth Director, delivering large group messages, leading small group Bible studies, helping manage a team of volunteers, and supporting the entire youth ministry and church with its mission, vision, and strategy. The Associate Youth Director must thrive in a fast-paced, highly relational, creative environment with tight deadlines and busy schedules.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The following responsibilities are a representative sampling of the duties of the Associate Youth Pastor.
- Recruit and train volunteers to support MungerYouth for grades 6-12
- Foster a fun, safe, and engaging environment for students, collaborating on event planning and strategy execution
- Share teaching responsibilities with the MungerYouth Director
- Build relationships with students through school activities, extracurriculars, and off-campus meetups
- Develop and nurture relationships with parents, keeping them engaged and informed
- Organize and participate in mission trips and service opportunities
- Co-lead the Student Leadership Team
- Equip students for lifelong service through community partnerships
- Model spiritually mature leadership for students and families
- Assist in developing youth sermons and Bible study curricula aligned with Wesleyan theology
- Collaborate with Munger Place Church staff, attending meetings and planning sessions
Education & Experience
- Experience working in Youth Ministry, or related field, in mid to large church ministry
- Experience in delivering powerful biblical messages to youth regularly
- Good computer skills: email, Internet, other applications
- Demonstrates enthusiasm and positive attitude
- High degree of initiative and accountability and a willingness to be coached
- Ability to manage and motivate volunteers
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills
