- Participate in weekly staff meetings
- Attend and/or serve at functions as needed
- Participate and relationally engage in the life and ministry of Bridge Cities Church on Sundays and throughout the week
- Work as a team player with a willingness and understanding that our roles may require flexibility and extra tasks according to need and skillset
- Primary teacher for student ministries
- Direct the student ministry ensuring consistency with the BCC mission and vision
- Establish teaching team, guest speakers, and annual message series map for students
- Develop initiatives, trips, events and activities that present opportunities to students to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus and in Christ-centered relationships
- Ensure relational discipleship opportunities are regularly available to students that are consistent with the overall church strategy developed by the Associate Pastor
- Establish and maintain a leadership development process for student and adult leaders
- Ensure healthy communication and partnership with parents in the spiritual growth of their student
- Establish relationships within the area schools and student-centric organizations to create serving opportunities and relational connections with unreached students
- Establish a focus on local serving opportunities and possible serving trips
- Establish relationships with adult volunteers, parents, and students
- Identify key students to build a Student Leadership Team
- Work with Music Director to continue growth of a student-led band
- Assess ministry structure and format to establish an effective and productive
- Student Ministry that mirrors the BCC structural pillars (Gather, Connect, Serve, Build)
- Establish partnerships with the Nursery & Preschool Coordinator and Kid’s Ministry Director in overall Family Ministry efforts
- Work with the Associate Pastor to further establish the Next Gen Ministry Team, assuring alignment from birth through young adult
- Create Next Gen Parent workshops for family discipleship needs (i.e. - safe technology usage for various ages, discipleship in the home, praying with and for your children, etc.)
- Assess the growth of the Next Gen Ministry for staffing needs
- Assess needs for young adult population at BCC and develop ministry opportunities
