We are seeking energetic team leaders for our Y-Kids Program. Y-Kids is a structured before and after school program that offers a great start and finish to every school day. Team Leaders support staff as they facilitate education and recreation opportunities, fun physical activities, healthy snacks, and positive reinforcement. With a strong focus on STEM, we encourage innovation, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity in all our kids.
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Site Director is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the program site and will plan, lead, and evaluate group experiences. This position operates at a specific school age site.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Plan and manage the daily operations of the licensed school age site, including administrative tasks, monthly budgets, and financial reports.Ensure Licensing standards / regulations are met at all times.Plan and implement high-quality programming that achieves educational, administrative, and service delivery goals.Recruit, hire, train, develop, motivate, schedule, and direct staff and volunteers.Coach and train staff, monitor and evaluate staff performance.Maintain positive relationships with administration, families, and school staff.Provide support for administrative staff to collect / report data as required.Monitor and report on achievement of project outcome goals and objectives.Promote and maintain enrollment at capacity.Maintain required program files, records, and reports.Provide appropriate and consistent discipline methods that reinforce positive behaviors.Report and document notable behavior and situations according to policies and procedures.Positively explain and interpret program standards and policies.Lead with a positive example in conduct and communication.Address student and parent concerns promptly.Attend and actively participate in regular program activities and staff meetings.Other duties as assigned.WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

AA Degree, BA / BS degree preferred.Meets educational and experience qualifications established by CA state law and Community Care Licensing.3 years related experience in school-based learning.A high degree of cultural awareness and competency.Experience in collaborative meeting facilitation and team building.Strong interpersonal and supervision skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to negotiate and mediate.Pre-employment health screening and TB clearance.Current certificates for Pediatric First Aid and CPR.LiveScan fingerprint and criminal record clearance.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other necessary computer programs.J-18808-Ljbffr
