The Heart of the Valley YMCA is seeking individuals passionate about working with children to join our Early Childhood Development Centers to prepare nourishing meals for the children that attend our centers.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Plan, prepare and document all the meals for the Child Development Center.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- Plan, prepare and serve food for meals and snacks.
- Maintain established standards of sanitation, safety and food preparation and storage as set by the local and state health department.
- Adhere to rules and guidelines established by the Madison County health Department.
- Provide an orderly, sanitary, and safe kitchen.
- Prepare inventory and shopping list needed for meals and snacks.
- Ensure proper food preparation, storage and disposal.
- Communicate and promote the YMCA mission, goals and objectives to employees, volunteers and the community at large.
- Promote a safe and positive atmosphere during scheduled working hours.
- Responsible for any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Child Development Center.
