As a Pilates instructor for the Y in Central Maryland, you'll be an important part of a mission-driven, charitable organization that helps children, adults, families, and communities achieve more in all aspects of life. You will hold and maintain an active Pilates teaching certification and provide quality instruction and supervision to Y members and participants by teaching safe and challenging classes that promote total fitness development and support a greater sense of well-being. You'll have the opportunity to teach or sub at one of our 11 different locations and you'll help more people stay active and connected to positive community life by providing a fun, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere that promotes group interaction, exercise, and a sense of belonging. As a Y Pilates Instructor, you'll contribute to the Y and to the broader community we serve by creating experiences that help people feel a greater sense of health and well-being, purpose, acceptance, and belonging.
