Camp Facilities Maintenance Staff at Camp Foskett (Summer Seasonal)

Under the supervision of the Camp Director and the Facilities Director, the Facilities Maintenance Staff Associate has direct responsibilities for the overall appearance and maintenance of the camp and grounds of Camp Foskett.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for overall maintenance and cleaning of Camp Foskett facilities and grounds; restrooms, pavilion, office, and classroom spaces.
• Tasks include but are not limited to trash disposal, toilet and sink cleaning, painting, landscape care, preventative maintenance within scope of abilities.
• Follow safety regulations in accordance with the YMCA of Central MA, and OSHA.
• Use prudent cost control methods to ensure best use of YMCA resources.
• Report any problems, repairs or supply to Facilities Director or Camp Director.
• Responsible for end of day camp closure, and next-day preparation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 year old
• Must be able to obtain CPR/AED/First Adi Certifications within 30 days of hire
• Able to tolerate working outdoors in all types of weather including hot, rainy, and/or windy days
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds, bend over, and walk & stand for long periods of time

Job Type: Summer Seasonal-Camp season starts from June 23rd, 2025 to August 22nd, 2025.

Shifts: Monday - Friday between 1:00pm-4:00pm

**Pre/Post Camp preparation and cleanup required- All Staff Training on Saturday, June 7th, 2025 and other training dates TBD.

Pay: $16.00 per hour for new hires and $16.50 per hour for returning Camp Facilities Maintenance staff. Plus, access to YMCA facilities for all YMCA staff, Employee Assistance Program, & Sick Leave
