Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children during program activities, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
- Plan and implement creative educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Assist in managing behavior and fostering positive interactions among students.
- Provide support in various areas such as tutoring, sports coaching, or arts and crafts.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
- Maintain communication with parents and guardians regarding program activities and student progress.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including administering first aid when necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, or special education is preferred.
- Skills in theater, sports coaching, or early childhood education are highly valued.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to effectively support children's needs.
- First aid certification is a plus but not required upon hiring; training may be provided.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
