This position requires residence at YMCA Camp Willson in Bellefontaine, OH. Housing is provided as part of the compensation package and living on-site is mandatory to fulfill the essential duties of this role.

Assistant Summer Camp Director
The Assistant Summer Camp Director is a dynamic leader supporting the overall management of camp operations. With a keen focus on camper well-being and program quality, they collaborate with the Camp Director to ensure a safe, engaging, and memorable experience for all. Their responsibilities include staff coordination, activity planning, and fostering a positive camp community. The Assistant Director plays a pivotal role in shaping the camp's success and enhancing the campers' summer adventure.
Unit Leaders:
Unit Leaders at our summer camp are the cornerstone of our leadership team. With a focus on advanced camper matters, they support staff management and lead the planning and execution of land activities and Evening Programs. This dynamic duo ensures a seamless camp experience, blending expertise in camper relations with adept coordination of engaging activities, creating lasting memories for all.
Seasonal: Full Time (140 hours/week). Leadership/Staff will report June 2, 2025 and is expected to work the entirety of camp season ending August 8, 2025.
