What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Specialist position at YMCA OF CENTRAL OHIO?
- Thinks, communicates and behaves as a cause-driven leader and role model for other staff and members when it comes to desired staff behaviors; promotes youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility in all job-related functions.
- Reviews intakes, as well as, outgoing participants for the program according to regulatory standards and in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintains a working knowledge of updated funder requirements
- Ensures the quality of data compliance, assisting with user issues and provides reports.
- Collects, inputs, analyzes and maintains quality of data in Columbus Service Point or other funder required data system.
- Frequently required to make new client files or pull exiting client files
- Attends weekly HMIS team meetings
- Audits all data points, signature pages and forms for a minimum of 25% of all client files on a monthly basis to ensure that program and audits standards are being achieved.
- Assists in reviewing program(s) for CARF requirements and standards by auditing program files for compliance
- Participates in all audits as needed
- Attends all Community Shelter Board required trainings and maintains all required certifications
- Reviews, processes and approves initial and/or subsequent rental assistance applications from the rapid re housing programs
- Other duties as assigned
