Seasonal: Full Time and Part Time Hours (25-40 hours/week). Training begins the week of May 22. Camp ends no later than August 18. Exact dates vary by location.

The Day Camp Leader provides direct supervision of a group of children in a seasonal day camp and assists the Site Director in promoting a safe, consistent and stimulating environment at assigned day camp site by performing the following duties.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: outdoor living, camping, songs/music, skits, sports, aquatics, recreational games, STEAM activities
- Previous experience working with school-age children, preferably in a day camp or child care setting.
- Ability to foster a collaborative team approach to solving challenging situations.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
- American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, AED, O2 certifications, and YMCA Child Abuse Prevention training must be completed to start of summer day camp program.
- ODJFS Orientation to Day Camp training and ODJFS Child Abuse Prevention training must be completed within 30 days of hire date.
