What are the responsibilities and job description for the ChildWatch Counselor - Morning Shift position at YMCA of Central Texas?
The YMCA of Central Texas is searching for passionate, energetic positive role models to join our team as ChildWatch Counselors !
The ideal ChildWatch Counselor is a strong communicator and problem solver who is able to engage with children aged 6 weeks to 13 years.
Morning shifts are 8am-12pm M-F and Sat 8am-1pm. Must be flexible to work during school breaks.
We are offering $250 bonus for new staff!
Essential Functions :
- Ensure the safety of participants at all times through active supervision while meeting the individual needs of each child in their care
- Model the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility at all times
- Be an appropriate, positive role model
Skills / Requirements :
Pay Rate : $13.00 to $15.00 / hour
