POSITION SUMMARY :
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Under the direction of the VP of Facilities, the technician is responsible for the overall preventative and restorative maintenance, development, cleanliness, and evaluation of YMCA HVAC & MEP functions. All Ymca employees are responsible for the health, safety and comfort of the Members and Participants.

Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Installing, maintaining and repairing heating, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing any electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Performing preventative maintenance on all system
- Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
- Developing a replacement plan for systems
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
- Assisting with customers' queries.
- A technician is considered essential personnel and will be required to perform ON CALL duties as well as assist with inclement weather protocols.
- All other duties as assigned
