What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Development Center Director position at YMCA of Darke County - Greenville?
Position Overview: The Child Development Center Director is responsible for the creation, development, planning and maintenance of excellent programs and services to YMCA early learning program participants and parents.
Current association childcare programs include full- and part-time year-round classrooms for infants (from 6 weeks of age), toddlers, and preschoolers, as well as before- and after-school programming and summer camp programs for elementary children.
Position Qualifications:
- Must meet the requirements of Chapter 5101:2-12 of the Ohio Administrative Code;
- Bachelor’s degree or greater in education or related field preferred;
- Experience in staff supervision;
- Proficient with computers, including computer applications such as spreadsheets, databases and word processing;
Pay range: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour to start, commensurate with experience. Pay increases available with evaluation and successful increases in childcare enrollment.
