The YMCA of Dekalb County Early Learning is seeking an individual who is interested in a part time afternoon closing position. This position would potentially float between all age groups (Infants, Toddlers and Preschool) In the role of Afternoon Part Time Teacher Aide, you will support classroom activities and assist teachers in fostering a positive learning environment for students. Specific job duties include:
-Carry out teacher duties in classrooms.
-Interact with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
-Meet the individual needs of the children.
-Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.
-Maintain a safe and clean classroom.
Hours: 12:00-5:45 PM Monday-Friday
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 29.75 per week
