Job Title: Night Shift Custodian
FLSA Status: Non-exempt Reports to: Night Shift Supervisor/Facilities Director
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Under the direction of the Custodial Supervisor/Director, ensures effective physical cleanliness of all assigned facilities. Performs routine cleaning as required. Informs management of any foreseeable problems with the facility. Performs any cleaning of the facility as required. Ensures excellent member service by addressing member concerns in a timely fashion and providing a clean and safe facility in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.

MAJOR TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform cleaning tasks to ensure effective housekeeping of the facility as assigned and ensure members' satisfaction.
- Perform routine housekeeping as per weekly schedule.
- Ensure all safety and risk management procedures are adhered to.
- Report unusual conditions to supervisor.
- Ensure proper supply levels of toilet tissue, paper towels, soap and any other services are provided.
- Report items needing repair to supervisor.
- Informs management of any foreseeable problems with the facility.
- Maintain shop areas in neat, organized and orderly fashion.
SECONDARY TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mandatory reporter of suspected abuse and/or neglect of children, elders and individuals with disabilities.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- New Staff Orientation completed within 90 days of hire.
- Darkness to Light child sexual abuse prevention training completed within 90 days of hire.
- Pass a background check.
- Ability to read and write.
- Must report all time worked accurately and timely.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.70 - $14.00 per hour
