What You'll Do:
- Dive into the excitement and supervise our amazing campers.
- Plan and lead activities that are cooler than a polar bear in sunglasses.
- Attend staff meetings and trainings—because knowledge is power!
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
- Follow YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies.
- Maintain positive relationships with parents and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Need:
- Must be 18 and over.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (it's the thought that counts) where applicable.
- Experience with kids, preferably in a day camp setting.
- Current First Aid and CPR-Child certifications (superhero training included) must be maintained through out employment
- Completed YMCA Child Abuse Prevention training upon hire
