Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the head swim team coach with instructing students in the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport. This will include organizing and directing individual and small group practice activities/exercises as directed by the head swim team coach. The candidate will also assess swimmer's skills, monitor students during competition and practice, and keep the head swim team coach informed of the athletic performance of students.
Responsibilities:
Required Skills and Qualifications: Current CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid/AED/Oxygen certification is required. A thorough knowledge of skills and stroke mechanics is essential. Previous competitive swimming and age group coaching experience is highly desirable. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are required.

- Assist the head swim team coach with supervising athletes during practices and competition.
- Model sports-like behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards members, participants, parents, and spectators.
- Perform support tasks such as distributing and maintaining eligibility forms, emergency data cards, and other related records.
