Ninja Zone Instructor
The R.C. Durr YMCA seeks instructors for our new Ninja Zone program. Instructors will lead classes following the Ninja Zone curriculum, creating a safe and welcoming environment for individuals of all abilities and fitness levels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Instruct and lead Ninja Zone classes according to the program's requirements.
- Deliver high-quality classes that adhere to the proper format and intensity level.
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in promoting participants' health and wellness.
- Maintain a watchful eye on class activities, monitoring signs of stress.
- Prepare and be familiar with instructional materials.
- Arrive early and stay late to set up and clean the class space.
- Accurately record attendance and administer program evaluations.
- Show respect for each participant's goals, needs, and perspectives.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CPR/AED/O2/FA certifications must be obtained prior to hire and maintained during employment.
- Ninja Zone certification is mandatory before the start date.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
