What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator position at YMCA of Greater Cincinnati?
YMCA Camp Ernst, located in Northern Kentucky (20 minutes from Cincinnati) is seeking a Program Coordinator for our robust teen leadership and staffing program as well as a coordinator for our weekend groups and rentals and high ropes course/adventure activities. Coordinators work closely with and receive excellent mentoring from our experienced camp directors, while developing skills in program delivery, hiring/ supervising/evaluating staff, designing and implementing training and curriculum, and strong attention to high quality guest services.
Our camp features activities including a double discovery course and horseback riding, plus a lakefront, two pools, and hundreds of aces of forests and fields to explore. Camp Ernst's large summer program employs 400 high school and college student's, serves 500 overnight campers and 100 day campers each week, and smaller shoulder seasons with specialty weekends and limited school group rentals.

Salary: $16 per hour
Employment Classification: Seasonal Full time for Summer 2025
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Have a strong passion for youth development
- Ability to handle multiple tasks by being a creative, motivated, self-starter with the skills to lead and motivate others.
- Ability to become ropes course certified.
