GENERAL FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the Office Manager, and in accordance with the Christian nature and purpose of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, the Receptionist is responsible for providing general office and administrative support for YMCA Camp Ernst, greeting visitors, answering and routing calls and assisting all camp staff, participants & visitors. Candidates must be able to work 2-3 shifts weekly, May 28-August 10.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet all visitors to the Camp office in a friendly, professional manner.
- Answer phones, ask questions, listen for caller needs, direct calls to appropriate person and/or handle call, following through to conclusion.
- Be aware of all Camp activities, programs & procedures in order to answer questions & assist with lobby activity as needed.
- Sell merchandise & care packages, obtaining all required campers, delivery & billing information.
- Print daily camper emails, sort & distribute mail and care packages.
- Adhere to established staff presentation standards, wearing staff shirt & name tag at all times.
- Be alert to safety issues, and know how to implement safety procedures as necessary.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Must be at least 18 years old, with High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for working with people, and the ability to deal with difficult situations tactfully and politely.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to multitask while displaying a positive, friendly attitude at all times.

STARTING SALARY: $13.00/hour
